The famous Bolga Baskets made by Gurune speaking tribe of Bolgatanga in Northern Ghana then 100 years ago.
They are manufactured with twines plaited with split stems of a grass phragmites karka (common reed). The twines are first dyed with right colours before weaving.
We work with a net work of master craft men and women organised groups / communities thereby making it possible to meet delivery dates.
